A Wealth Manager can free up your time, support your goals and help you take advantage of opportunities that come your way.
Remember, investing has its downs as well as ups – so you could get back less than you invest. Tax rules can also change and any benefits depend on your individual situation.

How to apply
Step 1
Get in touch with your Wealth Manager to find out if Premier investment management could be right for you.
Or, if you don't have a Wealth Manager, arrange a call back with our Wealth team to find out if it could be for you.
Step 2
You'll then have a review meeting so that your Wealth Manager can fully understand your needs and risk appetite.
Step 3
Your application for Premier investment management will be submitted.
Who can apply?
Premier investment management could be right for you if:
- You're a UK resident aged 18 or over with an HSBC current account or Savings account
- You have at least £250,000 of assets or cash to invest in a portfolio in your own name, or joint with a spouse or civil partner (joint investors must each have £125,000 but can have different investment objectives)
- You're happy to leave the responsibility of managing your investments to our specialists
- You expect to keep your investment for 5 years or more
- You have no plans to move overseas in the next 5 years
Or for a pension:
- You should have a minimum of £300,000 to invest, subject to the providers agreement to the Terms and Conditions
Fees
Your Wealth Manager will apply an annual management charge (AMC) that varies depending on the total value of assets in your portfolio. The more you invest, the lower the charge.
The AMC is:
- 1% for portfolios with a total value of assets up to £499,999
- 0.75% for portfolios with a total value of assets from £500,000 to £999,999
- 0.55% for portfolios with a total value of assets from £1,000,000+
The AMC is calculated daily, but is charged monthly and will vary depending on the size of your portfolio. There are other expenses which are deducted directly from the fund.
There's also a custody and administration charge, which is 0.25% of whatever you invest. This charge is for the safe custody and the administration of your assets.
