To use the app you'll need a smartphone or tablet, and a unique email address.

A few days after you've opened a Premier Account, Square Health will email you registration instructions. Follow these within 72 hours of receiving the email. If you don’t register within 72 hours, click 'Forgot password' on the app login page to resend the registration email.

If you haven’t received the email within 7 days of receiving your policy documents, check your email junk folder.

If it's not in there, check we have your correct email address. You can do this (and update it if necessary) via the HSBC mobile app, internet banking, in-branch or by calling HSBC UK Premier on 03457 70 70 70 (in the UK), or on +44 122 626 0260 (outside the UK). You should then receive the email within 7 days.

If this still doesn't solve the problem, call HSBC UK Premier on 03457 70 70 70. If you need extra support visit a HSBC branch for help.

Should you pass away from a cancer related cause - and you've had the policy for over 12 months - your executor or appointed administrator can make a claim for the £2,000 sum by:

1. Contacting HSBC UK Premier on 03457 70 70 70 (inside the UK), or on +44 122 626 0260 (outside the UK), or going into an HSBC branch
2. Providing a copy of the death certificate that lists cancer as causing or contributing to death

Once HSBC Life are notified and have received a copy of the death certificate, they'll check if there's an eligible claim. And if so, they'll make a payment into your Premier Account within a few days. This will then form part of your estate.

Yes. However, claims within the first 12 months of the policy starting will not be covered.

All documents are sent to your HSBC UK registered email address, so check your junk folder and that we've your correct email address.

Yes. The benefit will be automatically paid into your Premier account and this account forms part of your estate.

If you change your email address you need to let us know, so we can pass this onto Square Health.

As your email address is your login for the app, they will send you a new invitation email with registration instructions. Any information held under your previous login cannot be transferred to your new login, but you'll still be able to access this using your previous email address.

You can add or update your email address any time in our mobile app, with online banking or by calling us on 03457 70 70 70.

For data privacy reasons each individual eligible customer must have a unique email address to use the HSBC Health app.
